Building Buddies Lego Group

Spectrum Therapy’s Social Skills with Lego Group is open to primary and high school aged kids whose goals include expressive and receptive language, social communication and fine motor skills.
The group is targeted to assist children develop skills in the
following area:
• Waiting & Turn- taking skills
• Sharing
• Listening
• Fine motor skills
• Cooperation skills
• Conversation skills
• Following Instructions
• Concentration and attention skills
The approach promotes social communication, joint attention and collaborative problem solving, in a supported environment facilitated by occupational therapists, speech therapists and/ or psychologists. Children and parents/ caregivers will have the opportunity to develop strategies to support their child’s social communication goals.
Suitable for children between the ages of 5-7, 9:30am – 11am and 8-12 years 1:30pm-3pm
